Andrew brings a wealth of leadership experience to Gallagher-Clements. Focusing on enhancing internal and external collaboration to better serve our global personal and commercial insurance clients, he fosters a collaborative and accountable environment where individuals thrive and achieve ambitious goals, ultimately translating into superior client experiences. He believes in Will Guidara’s concept of “unreasonable hospitality”, where proactivity, diligence, and attentiveness are at the heart of successful business relationships. With Andrew’s unique ability to identify client needs and deliver both swift solutions and sustainable long-term strategies, he builds strong partnerships with clients and colleagues, ensuring growth and mutual success.
Prior to Gallagher, Andrew worked for eight years at Johns Hopkins University where he served as a Program Manager and Co-Director at JHU’s Center for Talented Youth. There he developed and led the CTY Emerging Scholars Program, which offered accelerated academic opportunities to gifted students from inner city Baltimore and was featured on NPR’s radio program On the Record.
He continues his relationship with Johns Hopkins by serving as an adjunct faculty member at their Carey School of Business where he teaches Negotiations and Business Communication in its MBA Program.
When not working, Andrew and his wife are chasing down their four and two year olds: whether it’s the backyard, Iceland, or the nearby golf course. His favorite philosopher is Hobbes: the tiger, not the person.
